As Christmas approached, it’s the best time to work on exciting DIY projects! This includes crocheting beautiful stockings as gifts.

This classic looking stocking is actually easy to make for a more experienced crocheter, and you can even add the optional fur topper to it.

This pattern uses bulky weight yarn, that’s why it looks so cozy and thick. And overall its a simple project to complete because it only uses the basic stitches. However, crocheting the heel flap can be a little tricky, so this pattern is considered to be a more advanced pattern.

I love the texture of this stocking because it looks unique with the shell pattern look to it. You can choose to make this stocking in any color that you want but I do love the red and green colors which represent Christmas.

As mosaic patterns are more challenging to crochet because of it’s unique design, I would consider this pattern to be for more intermediate level crocheters.

The puffy stitch is one of my favorite stitches. I love the texture and look of it and it’s definitely the perfect texture for Christmas time!

The only thing about it is it uses a lot of yarn, so make sure you have a full stack of it.

I love this colorful stocking that is perfect to make as a gift for kids!

Here’s another adorable mosaic pattern that I absolutely love and worked from the toe up. It has a different texture to it that I would consider to be for more advanced-crocheters.

I haven’t seen a Santa Claus Christmas stocking before, so when i saw this, I had to add it to the list! It’s such a cute pattern, and a really special design to add to your Christmas decorations. 

The skill level for this pattern would be for more for intermediate level crocheters because of the different textures and layers to this project.


11. Crochet Cow Stocking

Now who wouldn’t love a cow stocking! This pattern is so cute and not hard to make. So even as a beginner, you’ll be able to complete this in no time.
