A simple looking slouchy beanie that is beginner-friendly and can be completed in less than a day!

When it comes to beanies, one of my favorite styles are slouchy beanies. I love how fashionable they look and suits any outfit you wear with it!

This specific beanie pattern has a smooth texture to it, which means its very comfortable when you wear it, and most importantly keeps you warm.

It’s also customizable, which means you can choose to crochet it with any color that you’d like. We chose a neutral beige color because it will match with any other color you pair it with.

About this Project

This crochet slouchy beanie is perfect for beginners who want to get into crocheting beanies because it only uses the basic stitches, like the double crochet stitch.

If you’re a beginner, you should also be familiar with working in rounds, and know how to make a magic circle. It should only take you a day, maximum, to complete this project, and is the perfect gift to make for Christmas or as a birthday present!

If you’re a more advanced crocheter, this shouldn’t take you longer than a couple of hours maximum. You’ll need to make sure to count every round to achieve accuracy.

And you’re probably wondering how do you make the beanie look slouchy? Well, when you achieve the right length for the wide part of the beanie, you start making decreases to make it tighter in the opening part. It’s as simple as that! And that’s what makes it look so stylish.

I hope you enjoy making this quick and easy free pattern, whether it’s for you or for your loved ones!
