About This Project

If you’re already familiar with crocheting amigurumis, then this crochet chicken will be quick to make.

You’ll need to learn how to crochet a magic circle, and will also need to understand how to do increases and decreases. This is something you’ll anyway be familiar with when crocheting amigurumi projects.

The only challenge I would point out in this project is that when using soft chunky yarn, it’s important to crochet slowly and steadily, as the yarn is not as grippy or controllable as regular yarn.

Note: If you’re interested in crocheting amigurumis, then be sure to check out our adorable crochet cow that is also great for beginners, and Dumbo, our crochet elephant!
