My Colorful Crochet Flower Pillow – Free Pattern

This adorable amigurumi flower pillow makes you want to cuddle with it because of how soft and snuggly it is!

Say hello to my colorful crochet flower pillow. I was inspired to make this for my best friend’s baby shower that’s coming up.

Whether you want to make this adorable amigurumi pillow for yourself, your kids or as a special gift to a loved one, it’s a project that is practical and will definitely be used because of its soft and fluffy texture.

Plus, I love making flowers, and this pillow will match perfectly with the floral wreath pattern we’ve made!

About the Project

This pillow is worked in half double crochet stitches which is part of the six basic stitches in crocheting. I chose this stitch to give it that unique texture and it makes it stand out from all the rest!

The only note I want to point out about this project is that it uses chunky yarn to give it that soft texture. This also means that it’s a little more difficult to crochet with thick yarn because it requires bigger movements and more patience. But I promise the end result is worth it!

What I recommend is taking your time and crocheting at a slower pace, especially if you’re a beginner, so you can get used to crocheting with thicker yarn.

There is also some sewing required to attached the petals and the center of the flower (which is part of making amigurumis!)

Skill Level

I would say this is an advanced beginner level project. However you do need to get more familiar with crocheting thicker and softer yarn.

It requires more patience and practice to get the consistent stitches.
