These are the cutest crochet baby socks! I wanted to make something unique and add a little style to them, so the ruffle stitch fit perfectly.
When it comes to crocheting for babies, the ideas are endless! I wanted to make a quick project for babies between 0-12 months old, and these no-sew crochet socks were the cutest idea I thought of.
These little baby socks are not your standard looking ones. Since I absolutely love ruffles, I thought putting them on socks will make it that much cuter. Plus they also match our baby bonnet for the winter season or our adorable crochet baby booties!
And before you get started with this project, be sure to check out our step-by-step ruffle tutorial which will also give you so many more ideas to add it to.
About the Crochet Baby Socks with Ruffles Project
This no-sew baby socks with ruffles is actually inspired by the crochet ruffle article (link above) here at Amelia Makes. There’s a lot of excitement in crocheting ruffles, especially for babies, and when I got the idea of having ruffles on baby socks, I had to make it!
What I love about crocheting socks, you can make matching shirts, sweaters or hats to go with it! In my case, these socks look adorable with the baby bonnet design I linked above.
This project will take around four to five hours for an advanced-beginner crocheter to make. So it’s the perfect quick project to crochet for your baby or give it away as a meaningful gift (which is what I did). And it’s a no-sew pattern, so you don’t have to attach the ruffle separately!
The challenge: The heel part took a little more time to figure out as I wanted it to look more natural, but by following the pattern, it’ll be easier for you to complete.
Note: You can adjust the size of the socks to your desired length by adding rows in Row:6-Row:16.
I hope you enjoy the pattern!
